Flown with Honor
The premier recognition program at Thanks For The Freedom Fund is the installation of a flag pole at the home of a veteran. The 20 foot flag pole is a high quality, telescoping, bronze colored pole that features a security lock to prevent theft of the flag. An all-weather American flag will be awarded to the veteran at a ceremony where the flag will be raised in honor of the recipient. The ceremony provides an opportunity for friends and family to gather together to thank their loved one for his or her service.

Displayed With Pride
The "Displayed with Pride" program features a professionally crafted shadow box containing an American flag along with any commendations or items the honoree wishes to exhibit. The display includes a plaque engraved with the veteran's name, rank and branch of service. The veteran will be presented with the award at a cermony held in their honor.

Token of Appreciation
The Token of Appreciation Award is our simplest recognition program. It allows us to offer spot awards to veterans. The spot award may be in the form of a meal or a cup of coffee, an act of kindness such as holding a door, or it may simply be a handshake and a verbal, "Thank you for your service". Each recipient will be given one of our "Thank You for Your Service" cards to let them know that they and their fellow veterans are appreciated.
